Hotel Ponte Sisto Roma

Ordinary establishment, somewhat redeemed by an appealing, enclosed courtyard. Doesn't really make the most of it's interior facilities surrounding the central garden, as everything lacks style and has a complete mix of furnishings.
A little less convenient than many in the historic centre, being near the river and with no metro close by. However for more active guests the Colosseum, Vatican and the shopping area around the Spanish Steps are walk-able in around 15 minutes.
Exterior
Terraced rust-coloured buiding on 6-storeys with grey louvre shutters. No balconies.
Property type: Hotel
Balcony/Terrace: None
Storeys: 6
Built Year: 1952
Exterior: Terraced building
Interior
Smart but un-remarkable interior with a combined bar and breakfast room and an adjacent lounge for the bar. Lobby lounge with a mix of furnishings.

Grounds
Large central courtyard garden with tall palm trees sheltering metal tables and chairs, used for fine weather breakfasts and drinks. Small seating section under canopy shades.
Location
Area Type: On a narrow, cobbled side street, off a busy road, running along the Tiber river, close to Ponte Sisto bridge. There are shops, cafes and restaurants at the other end of the street in this more off-beat area of this historic centre. The Piazza Navona, Pantheon and Trevi Fountain are walk-able from here. Nearest bus stop is within a few minutes walk away.
