Hotel Principe di Piemonte
Well-presented and very friendly, bed and breakfast establishment, unfortunately let-down by a really unappealing location in this part of the city. Little amenities of interest in the immediate vicinity, although bus and tram transport is handy and the main station is walk-able.
Lots of graffiti and un-used commercial units, make this a thoroughly ugly situation. Not even a particularly pleasant walk to the more central area and certainly not recommended at night!
Suit those looking for a personal and hospitable base from which to take transport to the more impressive areas of Rome.
Plain, bland, 4-storey building with louvre window shutters and finished in grey and yellow. Three rooms have a balcony.
Property type: Hotel
Homely and tasteful, open-plan interior area with all facilities on the ground floor. Small breakfast room with ornate metal furnishing and a wooden bar with a lounge corner and sofas. Various oil paintings and a stained glass skylight add interest and colour.
There are no grounds.
Area Type: At the furthest end of a long and busy commercial road running alongside Termini main station by the train and tram tracks. Nearby are a few small shops, cafes and bars, further along the street. Station entrance is a 10-minute walk, where there are also metro stations. The tram also stops right outside.
